Clyde Hill Remodel
The client purchased this older home at an auction with a spectacular view on the top of Clyde Hill. When we finally got into the space, it required gutting most of the top floor. We decided to keep some of the original architectural elements as they lent character to this older home. By removing walls and replacing the windows, this space became an ever-changing artwork with its natural backdrop.
Refinishing the floors, selecting all materials and lighting, paint colors throughout, custom furniture, hand-knotted area rugs, and a specialty artist's custom Marmorino plaster finish applied to the fireplace wall resulted in an updated open and modern home.
