Kirkland New Residence

The client purchased a beautiful new home in Kirkland, Washington, where everything was painted in standard “builder white.” While it felt clean and new, they wanted to bring in more warmth and personality without repainting the entire house.

We focused on a few key updates to make a big impact. In the main living areas, we softened the columns to help the living room, kitchen, and entry feel more connected and inviting. We also added accent walls throughout the home to bring in depth and a little more character.

The basement was designed to be a flexible, multi-use space. We added hardwood flooring to create a functional office area, and a dark blue accent wall to define a cozy home theater, paired with carpet for comfort. Near the sliding glass door, we installed additional tile that ties in with the existing tiles in the basement kitchen, helping everything feel more cohesive.
